Know how to do it right

Level D is the entry level. However experienced you are and however long you have already been working as a successful project manager, you always have to obtain Level D certification before you can obtain the higher-level certification. The state-of-the-art Project Management Associate (IPMA/GPM) course incorporates Ottmann & Partner's accumulated expertise in the field of project management. This expertise has been condensed into a framework that enables course participants to acquire new knowledge or extend existing knowledge and apply it in practice.

What does the course cover?

The course covers the basic principles and methods of project management, the organisation of a project and aspects of cooperation within a project. Participants are taken through all phases of a project, from project start-up to project follow-up. They clarify the objectives, analyse the project environment, put together the team, plan processes, timeframes, resources and costs and consider finance requirements, distribute and document information, track and report on project progress, integrate changes, handle contract and claim management, conduct negotiations, deal with conflicts, dynamic team processes and many other things. The trainer helps them to mentally network the many different topics and to build up and develop an integral understanding of and approach to project management. Exercises and transfer projects are excellent practical preparation for the final optional assessment, and they also enable the smooth transition from project management theory to practice in the work environment.
