Projects are much more likely to make positive progress and close out successfully if all the members of the project team work together efficiently and trust each other. You can promote this kind of teamwork with team building activities that we will be happy to organise and/or manage if you like.
In many projects some team members won’t have met before and, despite never having worked together as a team before, they are still expected to function as a team - which generally doesn’t work. Perhaps you want to celebrate the successful close-out of a project or sub-project with your team by organising a memorable event or experience for them. There are lots of reasons for bringing your team together and showing it how to look at things from different angles, and lots of different kinds of team events. Outdoor training events are an excellent way of motivating teams in ways that would never be possible in the office. They bring out qualities in people that colleagues may not have noticed before, help to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and teach team members to depend on each other; acting as a team rather than individuals.
We can develop a customised concept for your outdoor or indoor event, with activities such as raft building, climbing, high ropes obstacle courses, camping or survival training, depending on your requirements.

“The Project Manager and Miss Sophie“ (only available in German), Dr Roland Ottmann also suggests holding outdoor events - because they’re fun!
He writes:
“One very successful outdoor event was a project task for 65 managers at a major German transport company[MSOffice1] . They spent three days converting a child day-care centre. They worked together and cooked together. They lived in a nearby hotel. What was the outcome? Excellent team building!”
Our client, Consorsbank Nürnberg, has already followed Dr Ottmann’s suggestion with very positive results.
